It was raining on this November morning, but this little girl and her parents braved the weather, and I’m so glad they did. This turned out to be one of my favorite shoots ever. I’ll admit I was nervous about this shoot…it was cold, it was muddy, and this little girl wasn’t walking yet, so I wasn’t quite sure how I was going to keep her clean and dry. Happily, everything turned out…it only rained hard as Chloe was doing her outfit changes, and by some great coincidence, it started pouring as soon as we were finished. I even got to use a bench that I have always wanted to try, but could never get inspired by it before. This time it worked like a charm. On our way out after the shoot, I had one shot left on my camera. Chloe had these raindrops on her face and the lighting where her dad was holding her was so pretty. One last shot. There is always one last shot!

It had been raining all week and we didn’t know if this shoot was going to happen, but luckily the rain stopped and it was a gorgeous day for a shoot. I love the colors of fall!

Photographing two babies at the same time isn’t easy, but it sure is cute! Emily and Ashley are two very special girls.
